What wires do I have to remove from the factory tbi harness that I do not need. I am putting this motor in a 90 model yj the jeep still has the factory wiring harness. I am using the heads and intake off the tbi motor on the older block are there any issues that i am going to face I should know about.
I had a 4 bolt main block on the rack in the shop already disassembled the machine shop bored the block 40 over and polished the crank. It had pretty much damaged the block beyond repair.
After I got the motor tore down I figured out I had a broke ring on one of the pistons. I even got the wiring harness and computer. I took the engine out of a 90 model suburban with TBI the motor was complete all accesories and throttle body. I am glad you responded this is what i have going any help would be great. So I am just having basic maintence done to them before putting them back on. I took the heads and had them pressure checked and everything was good.
